No.KP/66 of Gujarat Talati exam qualification: 2023/PRR/102013/1891/KH:- Provided by Section 274 read with sub-section (1) of section 114 and sub-section (5) EXERCISE OF POWER Section 227 of the Gujarat Panchayat Act, 1993 (Guj.18 of 1993), The Government of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules to amend the Gram Panchayat Secretary, Class III, Superior Panchayat Service Recruitment Rules, 2013, namely:-
Functioning of Talati-cum-Minister
As the Gram Panchayat Minister is an employee of the Panchayat Department of the Government, he has to perform all the functions related to the Panchayat Department of the State Government. All operations related to panchayat schemes and all operations assigned by the panchayat department are to be done by the gram panchayat minister. District wise Gram Panchayat Minister is recruited by the Panchayat Selection Board.
Superior Panchayat Service Recruitment Rules
Till now Talati exam was conducted on 12th pass(1) In the Superior Panchayat Service Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023, these rules shall be amended by the Gram Panchayat Secretary, Class II. may be said.
(2) They come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
Gram Panchayat Secretary, Class II. In, the Vaishtha Panchayat Service Recruitment Rules, 2013, (hereinafter referred to as “the said Rules”), in Rule 3,
(i) in clause (a), for the figures and the word, “33 years”, the figures and the word, “35 years” shall be substituted;
(ii) For clause (b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely
(b) holds a bachelor’s degree obtained from any university established or incorporated by or under a Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions such as recognized or deemed to be universities under section 3. Possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or by the Government; In the above rules, for rule 4, the following rule shall be substituted. means
The provisions of Rule 10A of the Gujarat Panchayat Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1998 shall apply in respect of the candidate appointed through direct selection.
In the above rules, rules 5, 6 and 7 shall be deleted.
