LABOR  CYCLE SAHAY YOJANA 2021






Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has clearly expressed that the combination of skill and hard work of the workers is the lion’s share in the development of the state-nation and GDP growth. In this regard, the Chief Minister said that the state government has also been concerned about the welfare of registered workers through the Labor Welfare Board as well as the Workers Welfare for Unorganized Sector Workers through the Construction Workers Welfare Board – the holistic development of their families.

The Chief Minister added that the resources of the state government are dedicated to the workers-poor, working class people. The government is working with universal labor welfare prices which will increase production, uplift and production in industries and increase GDP only if the workers are satisfied. The Chief Minister was addressing a video conference from Gandhinagar on the occasion of e-launch of various schemes organized by Gujarat Labor Welfare Board and e-inauguration of two newly constructed buildings.

Labor Minister Shri Dilip Kumar Thakor, Chairman of Labor Welfare Board Shri Sunil Singhi, Additional Chief Secretary of Labor and Employment Shri Vipul Mitra, Regional Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation Shri Lamba and Welfare Commissioner Shri Hitesh Rahul were also present on the occasion. Laborers from various district headquarters of the state as well as places of industry, H.R. Managers and business, industry leaders joined the occasion.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated e-Dedication of newly constructed Labor Welfare Center Buildings in Ahmedabad and Vadodara at a total cost of Rs 4.59 core

Shri Vijaybhai Rupani said that in the development of industry and trade of the state-nation, the workers are constantly working in the spirit of nation building. These workers do not worry about their own bread and butter, but do their work with the responsibility of the overall economic and industrial development of the nation-state.

The Chief Minister also directed the workers of the state to pay Rs. An accidental death assistance scheme of Rs 1 lakh was also started. He also introduced a cycle subsidy scheme for easy transportation of workers to and from work on their own. Under this scheme, the state government has provided Rs. 12 different schemes of Labor Welfare Board were given Rs. The payment of Rs. 2 crore 82 lakh through DBT transfer was also made by the chief minister.
